Cyclone Alert : Cyclone Kyant likely hit Odisha

A deep depression is formed over Bay of Bengal. Today a emergency meeting was held at fire service headquarter to dealing with cyclone Kyant. This meeting was chaired by Director General of Fire Services Binay Behera. Bhera said to media that fire service department open a help line number that is 0671-2303101 to help people. As per the information total eleven number of districts are going to affected in the cyclone Kyant and Fire department is divided all the eleven districts with five zone that are zone-1 is Jajpur, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara, Zone-2 is Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak, Zone-3 is  Khurda, Zone-4 is Nayagarh and Puri, Zone-5 is Gajapati.

As per the source this cyclone storm will reach northwest Bay of Bengal on 27th of October. The Odisha Chief minister Naveen Patnaik also called a meting about review the preparedness for facing the situation. Also in Paradip a meeting was held between the government and humanitarian agencies. This cyclone storm is 930 km off Gopalpur coast at 8.30 AM and 310 km from Yangon today. All alert district collectors are also taken necessary steps for review of preparations.
